The guidelines

Two documents now shape how clinicians treat and define myocardial infarction. This site was built to bring them within easy reach.

The collection

Written by expert panels, these set the standard of care and the shared language of myocardial infarction. Please read the originals. They are the authority.

Why this website exists

Great documents change practice only when people can find, read, and use them. This website was designed to increase the uptake and accessibility of these two documents among residents, fellows, and the clinicians who teach them.

  • Findable. Every recommendation of the 2025 guideline is on one searchable page, with its class, level of evidence, supportive text, and references.
  • Usable. The UDMI classifier walks the 5th UDMI pathway, and the crosswalk and ICD-11 lookup translate the older vocabulary that most guidelines and charts still use.
  • Teachable. The terminology pages, lectures, and probability primer explain the ideas behind the recommendations.

This site is an educational companion and does not replace the originals, local protocols, or clinical judgment.
